MY STORY
Harmonizing Lives Through Music

My musical journey began at the age of 4 when I enrolled in the Yamaha Music School in Tokyo. It all started because my preschool teacher got a bit tired of my spontaneous piano performances in class and encouraged me to take lessons instead.
I had no formal training back then, but I loved creating and singing my own melodies on her piano.

I stayed at Yamaha until I was 18, diving into music theory, piano performance, composition, jazz, and even exploring different instruments. Throughout my childhood, I participated in competitions for my compositions and both solo and ensemble performances.

During my college years, I pursued a BA in psychology from the University of Utah and a Post-Bacc in music therapy from California State University, Northridge. I loved working with clients dealing with challenges—mental, emotional, and physical—using music to guide them. I firmly believe in the healing power of music. I’m certified in Kindermusik and Musikgarten, and I enjoy teaching early childhood eurhythmics and piano. Currently I am working on completing Master of Arts in Teaching, Special Education.

Presently, I serve as a company and school pianist at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle. I perform for weddings, corporate events, private parties, auditions and Sunday services, all around the greater Seattle area. With a diverse repertoire that includes classical, jazz, rock, contemporary hits, and my own original compositions, I strive to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion!
